Here is an Agave parryi ssp. huachucensis pup I transplanted in July from my old place here in Upstate SC. The mother plant is about 20 years old. It was the smallest pup she had. While the house was empty waiting to be sold someone came in and dug all the other pups!

Greg Starr and I went on a 10 hour and 4 mountain range's agave hunt today. This was with out a doubt the best hunt that I have ever be on. I can't thank Greg enough for showing me all these cool sites, man what a blast. Here are some of my best shots from today. I took over 600 shots of agave's today, and that beats my old record of 400. Take Care guys and I hope you enjoy these shots has much as I did taking them. Martin

Well here they are as Ron requested. These are the best photographs of individual Agave parryi var. huachucensis that I have taking. I photographed over 2000 of these guys in the last month and half or so. Greg Starr has helped me out a ton, thanks Greg, your a good man. This well be my last Agave parryi var. huachucensis post for awhile, unless someone wants more for some reason. Take Care Guys, I hope you like this bunch, it was sure fun taking them. Martin

Can you also move one of these to the Agave tour (this form of Agave parryi was left off the tour for some reason)... I am struggling still to tell these Agaves apart... think I am starting to get it... (sort of)... the Agave tour helps some. Still, there is so much variation even within supspecies that I still am not sure how you guys do it, tell these plants apart. The Agave parryi ssp parryis are really quite different from each other... yikes!

I can see we will need a road map of all these incredible agaves to show there whereabouts should we get to come back to Arizona again.

Habitat photos. This population wasnt the easiest to find. It's not the same population that you typically see pictures of and is about 15 miles away and significantly higher elevation.
