Mr. ripple
I thought you guys would like this little note, When I planted this Agave Mr. ripple I put it under a tree with a good amount of shade, After about a year and half I did not like the flat look that it was growing into, so I decided to move it to a hot spot instead. Well I think that might have been a good idea, the agave seem to be thriving in the sun, better color and growing stronger. Martin

Re: Mr. ripple
Thanks Martin. I just moved a big one out of a large tub into the ground about a month ago, and where it will be receiving all-day sun, from dawn until dusk. I'm glad to know that I won't have to worry about it come next summer.
On a side note, my largest pup which is about 2 1/2 years old, is in a spot where it gets mid-morning to mid-day sun, is doing well, growing fast, and looking great. I know you're right about the plant looking better with better lighting. Here are 2 shots of a before and after better lighting over a 1 year, 4 month span.
Here's that pup in a roughly 2-3 gal pot. (this AM in the rain) This is the very same plant in July of last year which was growing in a greenhouse, and getting not nearly enough light. It's a dramatic change from the much better plant it looks like now.

Re: Mr. ripple
Looking good Martin, this is a new one for me. I have not seen any like it over here, so far. Maybe one day. Jkw
