FYI: Sevin is no longer made with carbaryl

Hey all,

Looks like the active ingredient in Sevin has changed from carbaryl to zeta-cypermethrin. I noticed this on the shelves recently when stocking up, but it could be easily missed, so figured I'd point it out here for anyone else that has been using it. There's also an article I found discussing this, and it appears to have been a fairly recent change. I don't doubt that it is still effective on a whole host of pests, but I don't believe zeta-cypermethrin is rated for mites of any kind, at least not that I can see on the label.

Oh, swell! Thanks for that very valuable information, DesertDweller. I am compulsive about checking labels, but I could have missed that if I were in a hurry down at Home Depot. Good thing I'm stocked up on the real thing, with carbaryl.
