I finally found a Dracaena cinnabarI for sale from Arid Lands. It’s in a 4” pot.
What soil/media would you suggest I grow it in?
I live in Southern California and I plan to grow it outdoors in a clay pot.
Thank you!

Interesting! $60, but they look pretty small... and they're apparently rooted offsets. I didn't even know they offset - cool!
Anyway, I have my plant growing in cactus mix from the garden center. For the first couple of years, it was babied in a greenhouse. Right or wrong, I pretty much treat it like an aloe or agave.
This plant came from overseas in 2018 (July) And here we are 5 years later. It sits outside now for the last couple of years in full sun, but I cover it up amidst a group of plants with a large sheet of plastic in winter just during rain and freeze, and uncover during the day with non rainy weather.

I was going to say the same thing. That newish brand HD sells in the striped bag is sandy, very fast draining and so is good for all kinds of plants .

They look really good. Quite the slow grower it seems.
