Doing OK in a few hours of afternoon sun. Gets shade cloth protection when things go above >110F consistently.

I want to grow it outside but the place gets 7-8 hours of sunlight. Will it be too much sun for it?
Thanks

I don't think so. I managed to rot mine, but it wasn't sunburned!

This plant was named by Xeric World's Allen Raphasy. Allen named it 'FireBall' for "its tight, compact, rosette that appears to be on fire with its bright yellow variegated margin".

Please dont take my word for it, I was just quoting what I read elsewhere on here. Like many agave names I find it a bit of a stretch

It’s the same with Aloes. Some of the names are pure nonsense.
