This is perhaps one of the most sought after Pachypodiums. I have a seedling that will take I don't know how many years to grow into an impressive specimen. A friend has a nice plant that is around 8 years old.

BTW, last pic is P. lealii ssp. saundersii and has been tagged as such. The other pics also look more like P. lealii ssp. saundersii though the tags are not readable. P. lealii comes from Angola and Namibia which is the western portion of southern Africa, has an upright growing habit with cylindrical stem that is wider at the base but not a roundish caudex per se and is one of the tallest Pachypodiums that can reach the height of 6-8 m in habitat. Conversely, P. lealii ssp. saundersii comes from Mozambique, Zimbabwe and eastern part of South Africa which is entirely a different region, has a bushy habit, can attain a height of 1-2 m in habitat but usually stays smaller and forms a large roundish caudex. It appears to me that the plants is first two pics are also saundersii but I might be wrong. Experts, please advise.
Thanks
