Re: Aloe microstigma
Very attractive and relatively common South African species with lots of speckles of leaves and wonderful leaf as well as flower colors. Solitary generally and stem forming, up to a bout a foot or so (Aloe khamiensis was once included with this species and it has a trunk). Rosettes about 1 to 1.5' feet in diameter, uprightly oriented and made up of blue-green leaves, which turn a variety of reds, oranges and yellows in times of stress. Teeth rather sharp and stiff. Leaves not very bendable. Flowers on soliatary pedicles and are compact, conical racemes of red, orange or yellow flowers, turning to yellow (or lighter yellow) as they open, in winter. Some plants can have multiple flower stalks at the same time. Easy, relatively fast growing plant, tolerating summer watering and some shade, as well as poor soils.

Re: Aloe microstigma
plant in those two indoor photos does not really fit Aloe microstigma as it has a branched flower, which A microstigma is not supposed to have
