Agave Porn

#1

Post by OWgave »

Hello Agave Lovers-

Since its been kinda quiet here (probably because it's winter here in the northern hemisphere), I thought i'd start a new topic of where you folks can post pics of your current favorite individual specimen of an agave.

Let me start with my recent acquired dwarf/compact A. macroacantha. Yes, in one of my other topic im looking for a beast of a mac, but stumbled upon this dwarf beauty that I couldn't pass up.

Let's get the party started!!!

I doubt it would have done well in Oregon. They need intense light and heat to maintain and grow, which is why I sold it.

I’m not sure on exact age. I bought it from an individual who won a lottery on permits to take them from the wild. It didn’t do well in Houston humidity, even when kept out of rain, so I sold it.
